before you can access properties of the student.Class objects. Entity Framework v1.0 does not support lazy loading.

if i understand the problem you need "load" the related class:

List<Student> listStudent = entities.Student.Include("Class").ToList();
OR
foreach (var student in listStudent){
    student.Class.Load();
    listToFill.Add(new ItemOfGrid(student.Name, student.Class.ClassName));
}
OR
you solution...

EF is flexible. You can find more about this searching for "Lazy Loading".

What are you saying, man?  I know everyones got their own opinion, but really?  Listen, your blog is cool.  I like the effort you put into it, especially with the vids and the pics.  But, come on.  Theres gotta be a better way to say this, a way that doesnt make it seem like everyone here is stupid!

I have to say, I dont know if its the clashing colours or the bad grammar, but this blog is hideous!  I mean, I dont want to sound like a know-it-all or anything, but could you have possibly put a little bit more effort into this subject.  Its really interesting, but you dont represent it well at all, man.

Hi. this is kind of an -unconventional- question , but have other visitors asked you how get the menu bar to look like you've got it? I also have a blog and am really looking to alter around the theme, however am scared to death to mess with it for fear of the search engines punishing me. I am very new to all of this ...so i am just not positive exactly how to try to to it all yet. I'll just keep working on it one day at a time.

I dont really know what youre talking about here.  This cant be the only way to think about this can it?  It seems like you know a lot about the subject, so why not explore it more?  Make it more accessible to everyone else who may not agree with you?  Youd get a lot more people behind this if you just stopped making general statements.
